Product Innovations told SRP its latest product, the Opus EPRA Real Estate Bond, opened and closed almost instantly, having been fully subscribed.

“It just shows that our messages about good value and diversification are becoming part of the psyche of the financial advisers,” said director Scott Levy.

The provider said we should expect ‘interesting things to come’, and a further tranche of its US dollar product, Opus Diversifier Dollar Bond.

Opus EPRA Real Estate invests 50% of capital into an account paying three-month Libor (currently 4.6%), from which withdrawals can be made during the term. The other 50% is invested in the growth account, which is capital protected, and returns between 95% and 100% of the growth in the FTSE EPRA Index.

Its minimum investment was stated as £2m for individual investors.
